Prompt response to my initial inquiry, Glen came in person to discuss the project. Quick turn around on a quote, with several options and detailed cost/payback analysis based on our historic usage. The 4 "suns" on "Quality of Product was our choice, we discussed several panel manufacturers, and we chose the more middle of the road price/performance wise, however we had full information and engineering specs on available options.<br />We were having other construction work done simultaneously and they were able to conform their schedule to mesh efficiently. Work proceeded exactly as promised, they were polite, professional, and cleaned up carefully each night and at end. They were also safe. We had roofers and other carpenters doing work high up (3 story house) and AM guys were the only workers who diligently used safety harnesses! I always check all contractors to assure they are state licensed and have current proper insurance etc. AM Sun Solar is "squeaky clean" according to CSLB. They took care of everything, permits, inspections and obtaining rebates, we were on-line even sooner than they predicted, even though PGE approval isn't within their control.<br />Our system is performing as predicted, we are coming up on the end of first year and we have a small surplus of both $ credit (based on TOD billing) and also actual net energy generation (NEM) which is exactly what we wanted, to be slightly over designed to add an electric vehicle in the future and still come out neutral cost wise each year.
