sunpower thoroughly examines your roof condition and then signs a contract that they are responsible for the roof the solar panels are on. That is BS. After spending 1k to paint all my ceilings a storm came and a leak appeared. Took them a month to get someone to my house. Inspector fixed it and stated the i initial installers didn't secure the panel to a beam which is what they were supposed to do. I requested compensation they declined and said that I need to get a 3rd party involved. So now im going to get my lawyer involved and they just lost the other 107 homeowners in my community. SUNPOWER INSPECTED THE ROOF TO ENSURE IT WAS IN GOOD CONDITION. A year later you want to tell me there are numerous leaks. When there's not. Only a leak where the inspector stated it was incorrectly installed!! I will be suing for way more than having my ceiling repainted just for the principal that ypu do not stand by your contract.... read more
