Honestly this whole process worked out easier and at a lower cost than we ever thought it would. We plan to save around 200,000 dollars over the rest of our lives in this home by living virtually utility free all for the price of an average car these days. That is more than what we paid for our home! With inflation it could even be much more! Not to mention the wonderful feeling it gives us to set such a good example for our neighbors and children because we are using a renewable source of energy and helping to protect our planet's already compromised fragile atmosphere.
