20 260w triple black panels were installed, 3 have been replaced do to underperforming within 1 year. Good news is that Winaico is quick to replace under warranty, but I'm not happy with the 15% failure rate.... read more

I knew I wanted solar for some time but wasn't ready financially. I requested a quote from Maryland Solar a year prior but didn't move on it. A year later I contacted again to see how the prices were and proceeded with the installation. With their knowledge and recommendation I chose the Winaico panels. They fulfilled my goal of which solution was the most cost effective. The permitting and installation was complete within a month, and that was the last time I saw an electrical bill. Now this probably has more to do with a Pepco fault since I expected some minimal monthly line maintenance fee. The electricity generating estimates provided by their software has been accurate or slightly below actual figures. Very happy with my decision to install solar, and not go with a lease. My installation will pay for itself in 6 years.... read more
