We almost signed on the bottom line committing to purchasing a system from a major competitor. Then, fortunately, we noticed they had increased their verbally quoted price to over $6000.00 more in the written contract and didn't tell us. They gave us a very lame excuse about the salesman not understanding the cost difference between a leased system and a purchased system. Well, we gave them the boot, did more research, then contacted Baker. We've ended up with a better quality system and substantially less expensive than first quoted by the competitor(one whose rep first confronted us at Home Depot). Don't make the mistake we did by only talking to one company. We were lazy and overly excited about getting a system. Thanks to their greed and our dumb luck in discovering it we dodged the bullet. Subsequently we have now learned from reviews on the Internet that this competitor has hundreds of bad reviews for all kinds of shady practices.
