In brief: I am totally satisfied with my experience with Intermountain Wind and Solar.
My installation presented challenges that they met without blinking. For example, I have a 1 in 16 pitch roof with 45 mil thermoplastic membrane over 3" of dense foam insulation and my stipulation that the installation not penetrate the membrane. IW&S contracted to place the panels on weighted pans having a 15 degree angle. The manufacturer of the pans suddenly informed IW&S they no would longer support residential installations. Long story short this required going to a weighted racking approach that could only use a 10 deg angle. This required adding an additional panel and inverter as well as additional roofing material padding. This was done at their expense and with no prodding from me.
The installation crew was quick and professional. I was impressed they arrived on site, held a conference to review the job and discuss the safety aspects of the job. A single day job to completely install racking, wiring and 28 panels ready for service in a single day.
The entire staff is knowledgeable and above all friendly and available to take time to answer questions and deal with any perceived problems.
