Highlight Solar

I started my solar project with Clean Solar. However, the tiles on our roof are attached directly to the rafters, with no sheathing or tar paper underneath, and Clean Solar required both of these to continue.
I looked for alternatives to re-roofing the house and selected HighLight Solar after seeing the good reviews on Yelp and learning they used a different rail attachment scheme which does not require drilling through the tiles.
I worked very closely with Dean but because of work commitments we communicated mostly through email. I chose a 17 panel/Enphase micro-inverter system with panels on both South and West facing roof, very similar to the original design I received from the other installer.
The installation went as promised...rails, panels and then electrical, much faster than Clean Solar who had me on an 8 week waiting list. Highlight Solar took care of everything and from start to finish it took only 2 weeks. The crew were excellent...worked out of the garage, and the results are very good.
We're producing peak power of 3.6KW or about 30KW-Hr/day with the system, more than enough at this time of the year to make the meter go backwards.
Overall I am very satisfied. Dean kept me informed throughout the whole process, addressed my concerns and followed up to make sure I was happy.
