First month’s electricity bill just came: $8.36, which is the minimum charge for distribution. And we have a 50 kWh credit for next month. That includes generating power for our our EV and plugin hybrid. We do have gas heat, and did charge the vehicles at work, so our carbon footprint isn’t yet zero. I bought these panels because the warranty was good, the efficiency was high, and the guaranteed degradation over time was good. The low thermal temperature coefficient also was a positive, as is the fact that they are assembled in the US.... read more
