Enchanted Solar

We chose Enchanted because the person we talked to wasn't a salesman, he was a technical person who did the actual design, location, sizing, selection of components, etc. We went with micro-inverters attached to each panel, so all the wiring is AC, and when one panel is shadowed, the others keep cranking. The panels are LG brand, 290 watt panels. On a bright day, they max out the inverters, and they start putting out significant wattage (80 or 90) even low light conditions and low sun angles. The pricing on these high grade panels was favorable at the time we installed them (6 years ago), so Mr. Bodnar recommended doing this. Buying higher grade panels ensures they will meet the design output of the system even when they begin to age after a couple of decades. We have one additional 240 watt panel that the designer threw in at well below cost (surplus from another installation) and while it performs well, the difference with the 290 panels is significant. The system has been absolutely reliable, the installation is neat, and the electrician who did the wiring, meter box, shut-offs, etc. was very competent. Overall, we are happy with the installation which has outperformed projections.
