We installed in October of 2017. I spoke to several solar companies and had almost signed with one when Chris called. Same panels, same system, same warranty...all for significantly less money. Installation took place right away; as matter of fact, we were up and running with solar long before the projected start dates the other companies had quoted me. Chris and his team were absolutely professional and demonstrated expert knowledge and skill; they were clean neat and orderly; and they even showed concerned for cosmetic issues that I wasn't worried about at all.
I should have written a five star review back in October because that was my experience, but I didn't because I'm lazy, I guess (or, as my spouse points out, I like to procrastinate) but regardless, this is why I wright it now. Great customer service isn't what happens when everything goes right. Great customer service is exactly what happens when something doesn't go right. We had a power failure in the area this week and our solar system apparently didn't reset properly. Today is Sunday and I discovered the issue this morning! I sent an email to Chris asking him what I should do to get the system up and running again. Expecting him to get back to me sometime this week, I am astonished to find him answering my email and then coming out to my house to reset the system and show me how to do it myself. Today is Sunday! Let me emphasize that; TODAY IS SUNDAY!
I hear companies selling solar on the radio and TV everyday. I get weekly phone calls from companies who are still attempting to sell me solar, even after having told them several times that I already have it. I look on line and see the customer reviews of these other companies and see that maybe the price was right or maybe the price wasn't right, but they didn't get back or someone was suppose to call or there was confusion between the sales staff and the installation crew... on and on and on. I would never tell another home owner what to do, however I will say that of all the major purchases I have made in my life, I am the most confident and the most satisfied with the purchase I made through Chris and Sol R Us.... read more
