All, I chose SunPower solar system due to their advertised technology, efficiency and warranty. I bought a system with 18 panels with microinverters even though the system was more expensive that 4 other consulted competitors. After 12 months of usage the microinverters started failing. The installer Photon Brothers in Grover Beach CA have attended diligently my complains and have changed more than half of the 18 microinverters in 2.5 years. Up this point the microinverters keep failing as well as the monitor system and no real long lasting solution has been proposed by SunPower. I am aware that I am not the only customer with this problem and most likely a class action law suit will result from this issue. In conclusion, there are many other options you could pick from and simply avoid SunPower at all cost. And if you currently have a SunPower solar system, monitor closely or demand to be allowed to monitor the panels twice a week and you may find out that you are on the same situation as me and many others....
