Regarding Native Solar,
This note is to express my extreme satisfaction with Native Solar, and especially the technician who they sent out to service my home solar system. Two years ago Native installed a 9kw SunPower system for my house.. My house is over 60 years old so the monitoring system had problems with my wiring. This resulted in multiple complaints to SunPower, who told me that Native was no longer an authorized SunPower dealer. I should add that my SunPower panels are excellent, perhaps the best on the market. My issue was strictly with the monitoring system. When I contacted SunPower they provided me with a list of authorized installers in my area; however, since those providers did not install the system, they did not want to do warrenty work. I contacted Native and explained the situation. Native assumed full responsibility, even though my system is just over two years old.
The Native technician that contacted me was Ryan Riddle. Ryan was extremely professional and genuinely sympathetic. He examined my monitor and convinced SunPower that since it had never worked properly, and it should be covered by the warranty. As my problem was unique, Ryan had to make several calls with SunPower's customer support in order to determine what was needed. Ryan insisted the wired device was incompatible with my home and needed to be replaced under warranty with a wireless monitor. He argued my case through several levels of management until they finally acquiesced. He obtained the replacement system, installed it and worked with SunPower's customer support technicians until the new system was functional.
I am very happy with Native, and Ryan Riddle for their support after the sale. Ryan could very easily have given up when SunPower first said they would not cover the system. Nevertheless he persisted! Ryan is a real asset to your company. .
Thank you Native, and Ryan Riddle for sticking with me. I will not hesitate to recommend Native Solar to my friends and relatives for their solar installations.
