Do not do business with Auric Solar! They don't disclose the variable rate 25 year financing that is based on prime plus 1.99% that adjusts every 5 years after the first 5 years. Their sales reps seem to conveniently leave that information out so they can make the sale. In my case, someone at Auric or their financing company went as far as signing my name fraudulently on loan docs I never saw to claim I agreed to this variable rate loan. My original sales rep only ever told me 4.99% 25 year fixed rate loan on the financing which was also at the bottom of the bid in fine print. No mention ever of a variable rate loan based on prime. So I have contacted my attorney, the consumer protection division and will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and have also filed a police report for the fraud of them signing my name on those loan documents. I just want the 4.99% fixed rate 25 year loan I was told I was getting by the sales rep and the only loan I agreed to. I would never have done solar had known about any variable rate loan based on prime or if I had to find my own financing.... read more
