The SunPower panels have a 25 year warranty and have their own embedded AC inverter. This arrangement should make repairs easy in that the panels are wired in parallel therefore each panel can fail or be removed without causing the system to stop generating power. In addition each panel has its own monitoring circuitry that communicates with the main controller allow easy identification of which panel needs repair should it fail during the life of the system.... read more
