Impact Solar LLC

We talked to a lot of solar companies in our search for solar contractors and options. We never though ownership was an option due to the high cost the last time we looked at solar. Dan impressed us with the option to own our solar equipment. He worked with us to ensure we had the right finance company with the options, equipment, warranties, and services that made sense for us. Trust me it was not an easy sale for Dan and Impact but they stuck with us through 2 months of questions, phone calls a text messages.

Once we made our decision, Rob came over to talk about his background in the Solar industry and why he stared Impact with his brother Sam. I was impressed with his passion and knowledge for the industry. I was please to also hear how they worked hand in hand with their roofing company JC Wagner to ensure we the best possible materials and installation of our solar mounts ensuring leaks were something we would never need to worry about.

Once the project started we had a new roof, tree removal, and were making our own power in 2 weeks. Sam and Rob ensured the roofers, tree guys, inspections, and cutover from our old power company were completed in a flash. Sam then got us setup to start logging our power generation with PJM and showed us how to sell our SRECs on the market.

All in all a great experience with a great company, an awesome product, and the best service. Ask my neighbor...Rob and his team were on their roof last week installing their new solar system too.

Excellent

Qcells

I like the rail-free design. It actually helped speed up the installation process as in our township there is an extra step to inspect the rails before the panels go on. THe panels are a true black unlike some blues and brown panels I have seen. The skirts provide a very nice finish to the overall look on the house.

The only factor that kept me from rating 5-stars is the mounting hardware. The clamps that connect the panels and secure them to the roof are raised above the panel surface. Nothing done wrong, it's just a tradeoff of the rail free system. I'm just picky and would have liked to have my cake and eat it too, but life is a trade-off.
