Overall I could not be happier with my grid tied solar system! The people from Great Brook Solar know their craft well and follow through with the highest regards for customer satisfaction. I was impressed and grateful that they took the time to work with me on the design to ensure everyone understood my goals for this system. With one year now behind me I feel confident in the installation, quality, and durability of everything used. Of particular concern to me was the roof mounting system used to install the array on top of my new roof. All I can say is wow, what a spectacular job they did getting it done! No leaks and no shifting (I get high winds on my property) of any sort, all with stainless steel hardware.
They also took care of all the paperwork and permits, which sounds like it might not be a big deal... but it can be. This is certainly something that a company with experience is critical for. Knowing what needs to be completed and when is critical to keeping the project moving forward. Also taking advantage of any tax credits should not be a stressful task. With the consolidated paperwork they provided, I had everything I needed in one place ensuring everything was as planned.
I would recommend Great Brook Solar to anyone who desires a quality, reliable, and professionally installed renewable energy system. It is worth the time and money to use a quality installer since these are long term investments. Don't cut corners hunting for the cheapest deal out there from some other company that's been around for a year or two! I was initially concerned that these panels might not be the best power production for the dollar, but they perform reliably and at or above specifications. This was a recommendation from Great Brook Solar, and in hind sight I'm very pleased I listed to them. Quality panel that should last for years to come.... read more

These inverters have been working flawlessly for the last year for me. They can be a "set it and forget it" type setup, or watch and configure the details. I appreciate the built in solar web capabilities, which makes tracking the output of your array much easier. Considering the price of these inverters, they pack a lot of function in to a small package. Mine are mounted indoors, but I believe they are rated for outside exposure. They run cool and moderately quiet. I have not noticed any stray RF interference, which is important to me as I work with radios. Overall a solid device, at least in year one!... read more
