Vivint Solar

Before you sign a contract with Vivint Solar, read the small print! We had the panels installed in 2014. All was going well until we tried to do a refi on our home. Our credit union requested Vivint sign a form saying that the Credit Union would be first position on the lien list for the property. No problem we thought since Vivint has no lien on the property. We were wrong! I won't go into all of the legal stuff, but the only way we could get our refi is to buy the panels, at around 38,000. So before you sign that contract, READ the small print.
