Highlight Solar

If you want to install a Solar system going with Highlight Solar is no brainer. I just installed a 6.25KW system.
It took only 5 minutes on the phone to get a direct clear information from Dean. He explained string inverter (one non scalable) vs. micro inverters (scalable system), Mono vs. Poly and the price ($3.49/watt for Poly as on web site). This was the first call and I got everything I needed, he visited the house, looked at my consumption, gave me capacity options, looked at the best location and started the project within 1 week, got installed in 1 week and all up and running passed inspection. No hidden fees, tells you that the city permit fees are extra and any panel work is extra. Also installed a home efficiency device.
I shopped around, and everyone tried to tell me how I can save money by installing a solar system, but not the cost and various options. I felt that the solar industry is similar to the mattress industry. It took me days to get a quote from Clean Solar because you have to go through multiple people, still more expensive. I got a quick quote from Solar Universe (Chris Shea is a nice guy), but Highlight Solar was by far the best price. Due to the short lead time, Dean was running into issues obtaining some components like the Enphase inverters, he would call me and explain and ask me if it is OK, eventually he found the quantity he needed. He was very patient with all of my questions.
The installers were excellent too, Doug is a great guy. The installation was nice, professional and very neat (the roof looks nicer now). In summary, you get the best advice and the best price with no hassle (peace of mind).... read more
