Four years ago I hired a contractor to build me a 10kw system. I specified Fronius as the grid-tie inverter I wanted. They came with a 10 year warranty. Now 4 years later, the Fronius tech had me step thru commands and identified the error codes 516 as a 443 error, a failing board in the unit.
This was 9 days ago. They waited 3 days and the told me they couldn't find the installer who serviced my system on day one, in their system anymore. They wanted to send out the entire 5k inverter to replace this one. It has been 9 days now and they haven't shipped anything out. They now want me to front monies on a credit card before they will ship me anything. No response and total silence.... read more
