I have a small solar system using 12 enphase microinverters. Seven of the inverters have failed during the 6 years the system has been operational. The 6th inverter failed on Dec. 18, 2016 and the replacement arrived today, Jan. 25, 2017. Ironically, microinverter number 7 failed today, the day replacement number six arrived. Replacing them is a pain, especially since the company that installed the system has been out of business for over 3 years. I have to get another company to replace an inverter when it fails and it is difficult for me as a homeowner to contact enphase as they only seem to want to speak with installers. I email them on their website and get no response. I get tired of having to deal with all the microinverter failures that I have had. If it was easy to contact enphase for a replacement inverter the failures would not be so bad.... read more
