We have had a solar system in the past but just for heating water. We have always wanted a photovoltaic system to create electricity for our home. So we looked into making it happen by checking into several companies that serviced our area. One day James came to our home to pitch his solar company Intermountain Wind and Solar. He was not pushy, knew his products, and did everything he could to answer any and all questions we had. After a lot of thought and more investigation we decided to go with this company.Wow what a great decision that was! The company did it all with a flair from start to finish. Everyone from the office was extremely helpful in all aspects of the installation. The installation crew came a half a day early to get started and by noon the next day they were finished. They installed 26 LG’s 315 W new module, LG NeON™ 2, which adopts Cello technology to enhance power output and reliability. It has double-sided structure which allows light that passes through the front of the panel to the rear of the module to be reabsorbed to generate a great amount of additional power.After having our installation done for 2 months everything we were told was right on including a bill from our electric company for $5.24 for being connected to the grid and we already have a surplus of energy credits to help us through the winter months.Everyone from one of the owners, office staff, salesman, down to the installers were excellent in their duties and extremely knowledgeable with the LG warranties including: 10 Years Warranty for Modules, and 25 Years Warranty for Power Output. What a great value for our money.Thank you so much Intermountain Wind and Solar for a job well done! I was shopping around for solar bids when DwellTek placed a mailer in my mailbox about having done the prewire for my home (Garbett Homes). I asked for a bid and what David would suggest, and their bid was informative and helpful.We later got an electric vehicle and he asked if we'd like a level 2 charger installed in our garage at the same time along with increasing our array power from about 4 kWh to a 7.44 kWh system. Pricing was fair and the installation was fast. 24 panels, envoy, and vehicle charging port done in two days. This company is knowledgeable, and professional. There is no better Solar company in Utah. Each and every member of their team was informed and proactive! We are thrilled with the system, as it is exceeding expectations.
They loaned more than 50,000 dollars in our name for solar service and yard work. When they lagged the yard work for MONTHS, we said we don't want the yard work from them. Sam, the owner of the business, said this is fine and that we can get the refund check of $18,000. This was almost 10 months ago. Since then, he's been dodging calls and ignoring us to not give us OUR money. He is a crook and should not be done business with. He will rip you off.... read more
