I rarely give 5 star reviews but the sales staff, contractors and engineers at Energy Monster have earned that and more. We recently purchased a solar panel system from Energy Monster for our residence. During the entire process we found everyone to be professional, responsive and most importantly deliver on their promises.We are very pleased with the outcome of our installation and have seen the results of our investment not only in our energy bills, but also the energy credits and refunds from the government. Naturally, like most people we were a little skeptical with this venture in the beginning as it is seldom that consumers actually receive what was promised at the time of the sale. I was researching Solar Power for a long time and eventually stumbled on reviews of Boston Solar, I was happy with what I saw and I booked an appointment. I also booked appointments with other companies in the past and was not satisfied with them, however, with Boston Solar, everybody was straight forward, no scare tactics such as other companies tried to use on me. They took my power bills and drew up estimates based on them. The estimates looked very good so I went ahead and had the system installed. Now that the system is installed, I am very, very happy with them! I produce more energy on average than I use every day. Even on some partially cloudy days, production is more than usage, and it is winter! So my production should be 2/3's more during the summer. The quality of the install was very very good, being in IT, I like to be neat and clean with wire management, and these guys, while installing the Solar System and installing my new home power panel, did a very neat job. It actually looks really good on my house too! I literally have no complaints, they were quick, built the system very quick, and answered all my questions. After a couple of disappointing experiences with solar companies a friend of mine told me about Mike. As promised, he was knowledgeable and responsive. We sized a system that included solar and a Sonnen battery, to serve as our backup solution, and Mike & his company took care of all of the necessary state & local paperwork. Our roof was almost 25 years so we opted for Beacon Solar's roof team to replace it as part of the overall project. I love my Solar Panels!!! I purchased the system from Astrum Solar in 2015 and the electrical installation was done by Newport Electric Construction (NEC). The only thing was the inverter box was supposed to be installed in my basement but Astrum's paperwork was wrong. The NEC guy was great, he got right on the phone and immediately straightened the whole thing out! They were on time, answered all of my questions and left my yard spotless. I'm having trouble with my solar system which is 2 years old. I've contacted the Solar Spectrum customer service 5 times with no response. Very frustrated! I've left emails, called and left messages, no reponse. This has been going on now for 2 weeks.
