Firstly, no solar contractors can pay to get listed at the top of our search results.
The order of our list of best solar installers is displayed based on a formula balancing reviews number and reviews score only from the last two years. If a company has a lot of reviews and a higher average reviews score, but is below another company in the list, it is because most of their reviews are old and the company above them has more reviews at a better average reviews score in the last two years (even if overall they have fewer reviews or a lower all time average reviews score).
We show all solar energy contractors that have received reviews of solar panel installation work they have done in Fort Mc Coy even if they don't have an office in Fort Mc Coy. There are a lot of renewable energy companies in the solar industry in the United States that service areas in which they don't have offices via contract installation teams. Some of these companies receive a lot of complaints (see the big national installers reviews like Vivint Solar, Sunrun and Solar City), but others have really good reviews and so we don't exclude them from our top solar companies lists. They often bring price competition to smaller cities where the local solar companies are so busy they need to put their prices up. It is up to you how much weight you put on a local office when choosing between solar companies.

I have been generating power for almost 1 year now and love the fact that I made the decision to go solar. Power Production Management did an awesome making sure that I received a quality system that meet my needs. My only issue was the install date was longer than initially planned, but I was kept informed of the delays and it was due to the high volume of new installs generated by the Alachua Solar Co-Op. It is great to see an electric bill get as low as $26.Thanks to all the staff at POWER PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT!... read more

The project was handled very efficiently and professional from the original proposal through permitting, installation and follow-up. Not the cheapest system install I could find but not by any means unreasonable. Totally hassle free. I would recommend.
I wasn’t expecting to have such a fun and educational experience with Ryan from simple solar. I had been looking for solar for years and haven’t been able to find the right program. My daughter lives in California and has been running on solar for years. I knew it was a matter of time before I was going to go solar. Do yourself a favor by contacting Ryan and Jorge, they will make your experience to go solar easy and SIMPLE.... read more
The only thing I had to do was say "yes" and everything else was taken care of for my Solar System. We are very pleased with the professionalism of all aspects of the installation. Everything was taken care of as promised from the beginning. The county inspector commented that everything was as required and more. We would highly recommend Tampa Bay Solar if you are looking into installing a solar system.... read more

Great company all around! Had a chance to visit their office, amazing environment! Professional atmosphere, excellent service!
Solar drew my interest for two main reasons: Free Energy and I hate giving the power company handfuls of $$$. So I started my homework. I contacted numerous companies here in South Florida regarding solar installation and cost. I quickly educated myself to the different types of panels, inverters, optimizers, etc… I got informed. Sprightful happened to be the first company I spoke to. From the first time I met him, Pablo my sales rep was well informed and seemed pretty straight forward. We met at my house and he walked in with a diagram of solar arrays on my roof, optimal sun angles, trees that might interfere, etc. He had his act together. I’m sure I can’t be the only person he’s talking to about solar, but that is the attention that he gave me. I took it all in, got the price, and thanked him for his time.I’m not one to go with the first price I get, so I shopped around. I met with several other solar companies. From used car salesmen types to some pretty straight-forward salesmen. None came as prepared as Sprightful did. Their first impression went along way. As the decision time came, I had three legitimate quotes. I had all the pricing about the same for three identical systems. Sprightful got my business. My install was about 6-8 weeks out when I signed my contract. Permitting process, ordering equipment, organizing his install team, etc. Pablo would periodically check-in and let me know where we stood. As the time came near, we had a very long couple of weeks of rain. Pablo was very informative and kept me up to date with the rain delays. Install week arrived and Pablo and his Sprightful crew came and installed my system in about 4 days. Yes, Pablo was on the roof laying the panels, carrying the hardware, etc. I found it interesting that most of Pablo’s install team have been with the company since it’s inception. They all seemed to carry the same positive outlook about solar and the future of the Sprightful company. My system was installed and turned “ON” on June 9th, 2018. It is a 11.4k system that runs a 1900sq ft house with a pool. My power bill was $300 per month, all year long(I was in the budget billing program). My average power bill since install has been $50 (June – October 2018). That’s through the hottest summer months… I anticipate it will go down for the next few months as the temp drops. Pablo has reached out on several occasions since install to talk about my power consumption, best power use practices, power bill explanations, etc. I just received my first referral (my best friends chose Sprightful as their solar installers). I look forward to seeing my power company independence grow even more over the next few months and years as I suck up the Florida sun and put it to work for me. I truly thank Pablo and his team at Sprightful for helping me make this happen.... read more

Last year, my average electric bill was running $380/month and after heating my pool for one month, my gas bill was over $400 (pool heater is the only gas appliance). Needless to say, we were shocked at the cost and started looking into solar options for both the pool and house. We first interviewed a national corporation which was installing solar on some neighbor houses. Although the salesperson was nice, the company only worked with electric panels and did not offer any products for solar heating our pool. Their quote included a standard 40 panels (seemed to be more than we needed) which would only address our electric bill and not our pool heating needs. Furthermore, internet searches revealed a poor national customer service. Doing my due diligence, I received another quote from Christina at Bay Area Solar. She was very knowledgeable, and provided honest guidance about what the most efficient solution would be for us. She asked us questions about our use and needs, as well as our current bills, and delivered a customized solution which included pool solar panels, household electric panels, a solar attic fan and a solar water heater for the home. This solution was designed to get us as close to net zero without producing more solar energy than we needed. Christina explained that excess energy would be bought back by the energy company at pennies on the dollar and was not worth the investment (the national company, however, was promoting excess energy production and tried to upsell us). Christina’s quote came in over $10k lower than the competitor and was a full solution for both the house and pool. Furthermore, Bay Area Solar is a local company. As a small business owner, my husband and I felt we would rather support local business than a national corporation.I am thoroughly pleased with our choice to go with Bay Area Solar. I truly appreciate Christina’s patience in answering all of our questions and sharing her extensive knowledge about how solar works with the energy companies and the federal rebate options. She did not gloss over anything or try to upsell. I found her to be honest, straight-forward, and easy to work with. The installation was done fairly quickly over a few days and she was onsite to answer questions and ensure everything went as planned. We are now able to easily monitor our solar production through a mobile app. Following the installation, Christina has continued to provide excellent customer service. When a storm caused a power outage, Christina was able to quickly identify that the power to the solar panels needed to be rebooted and walked us through the process so that we would not lose out on solar production. My current electric bills are running around $25/month, a drastic difference from the near $400 bills we were receiving, and that’s only because we purchase extra surge protection! My pool now stays at a constant 80 degrees from the solar panels and does not require us to use the gas.I highly recommend Bay Area Solar for anyone looking into solar options in the area. They are rare professionals with pride in what they do and a genuine interest and respect for their customers.... read more
I am from Europe and am - overall used to MUCH BETTER customer service than what one normally get here in the USA. For some reason, the solar industry, at least in my experience with over 5 different companies, seems to be even worse. So calling Beyond Solar and get the kind of caring and attention was really refreshing. I was very frustrated with some of the other vendors we were in contact with. On one company, I even left my phone number 2 times to the Sales department, but never heard back....We did a tons of research before we decided on Beyond Solar as provider for our 7.5kw solar system,: http://beyondsolar.net, but even after having visited many websites and gotten some quotes we were not 100% sure. However, after having asked them tons of questions, trust me - I asked a lot - we felt that their solution/company was a good fit for us. Before we decided I went to one of Beyond Solar's clients and got a run-down on his experience and he was very pleased, so again, we felt good about Beyond Solar. They were not the cheapest, but among the best priced and they offered a really wide range of options and so much customization and help that we felt very comfortable with them. They offer a true turn-key-solar-solution though we financed with SunTrust because we were already preapproved. Also, the install crew was very professional and polite and even cleaned up everything after themselves and were very knowledgeable and meticulous about everything they did. They even brought a gas-driven power generator to keep the fridge/freezer and other things powered up while they had the mandatory "Down-time" to install the Solar Edge inverter. This was our first ever solar power/panels/systems we have bought, so I cannot compare them with any other on the entire experience, but overall we're very happy with them and can really recommend them for residential solar and I think they do commercial solar installations too.Lastly, we learned is that one should as buyer - if you're like us anyway - make sure you sign up on the local energy provider buy-back program otherwise the "overage" will be just given away for free, so if you're getting solar power, make sure you get credit for the energy that goes back to the grid for others to use : )... read more
