Earthlight was absolutely fantastic! We have a pretty big install with 75 SunPower panels yet it only took them 2 days to complete the install plus everything is professionally done in conduit to code! I had a electrician over (unrelated to Solar) and he was so impressed he was going to give them a call for his own install. Earthlight treated our install like a all hands on deck. They sent upwards of 10 guys through the 2 day install. They were all very nice and acted professionally. They even helped us with a small rodent problem by sealing some gaps in our siding by the roof (above and beyond their duty)! I couldn't recommend them more to anyone looking for a solar install! Not only are they the best installers they also use the best equipment and panels on the market (SunPower). The SunPower Equinox system is a complete package from SunPower unlike others that use parts here and there from various manufactures. Earthlight's customer first focus is bar none! They even brought a thank you present from a local business in Ellington on their last visit! You can't go wrong choosing Earthlight for your Solar Install! Now I just wish I had more roof space to install more panels!... read more

I really enjoyed working with the EcoSmart team. They were really focused on making sure the quoting and installation process were as friction-less as possible. Nice people, focused on customer service. System looks great and seems to work great... oh, and it was good value for money, as well. We went through the quote process with a number of firms and got the best feeling (and best deal) from EcoSmart.... read more

The process to get the job started was slow which impacted the overall rating. I think they were overwhelmed with the popularity of the "Energize" program in Connecticut at the time. I pushed them to fit the max number of panels on the roof and go with higher end inverters during the design process; so I would have capacity for a geothermal heating/cooling system. Their designer knows his stuff. It's silly to be impatient though, because I haven't had solar my entire life... so what's a few months more? Once they got started it went pretty well and they always communicated before showing up to do work. They did a great job with the panel installation. The heart of the system is really the inverters and the various electrical... which far exceeds expectation.... read more
Got some information from sungevity solar at home depot. Gave them a call and recieved a quote via email. They pushed a leasing program. The savings didn''t make sense to me, and they had no details on what type of system would be installed. While searching efficient solar panels an installer named Allgreenit from bristol came up. I contacted them expecting nothing. Michael showed up to survey the sight and to answer questions. He knew the answers and gave me ideas. The quote was less than half of the other installer for lease. I was puzzled because they knew what it was, why so low? I agreed to the deal. The install went very well. Very happy I stumbled on this company.... read more

Skyline Solar is a class act . Everyone I met from the sales team to the installation crew were extremely friendly and down to earth. The best part was not only did they have the most competitive price but they came and installed my system within 75 Days and I literally didn't have to spend a dime!
I had a great experience with Crius. They knocked on my door and told me they we're selling solar and I really didn't want to hear anything about it but the guy was really nice. Oliver was my sales rep and he explained how solar works and how I might be able to save money with it.I signed up with them about 5 weeks ago and just had solar installed this week. I'm very happy with how professional everyone has been that I've talked with and how they made sure I understood what was going on through the whole process.I've already talked to my brother about getting solar installed too.... read more

They did not know anything about Solar just a couple of years ago. Nothing, They are a disaster with the Geothermal they say they install, and know nothing and have NO respect for anything related to Environmental stewardship.

For those of you who are interested in transitioning to Solar Energy, read about what a former skeptic has to say about our experience educating ourselves in the area of solar energy and then finally participating in a low cost/no cost installation program with Trinity Solar. Fifty percent of my reticence to do this project came from a few bad past experiences with other projects that did not run smoothly at all. I was also skeptical about switching over to solar energy because I did not have all the facts. A sales representative from Trinity Solar, Ethan Marvel Requardt contacted us about six weeks ago and made an appoint to discuss the facts about solar energy and a program in Massachusetts that made installation of solar panels a virtually free option at this time. I wrote up comments about this exceptional young man and posted it on this web site, I believe. So it is no secret that Ethan is an asset to Trinity. What I am saying is that if someone who is intelligent, knowledgeable about solar energy, has a way of breaking down the economics into understandable chunks, is patient with people who need a slow, planned approach to the financial piece, and was gentle and respectful as Ethan was, most of the fear about this type of conversion would be much less of a problem. We were delighted with our salesperson and it made this phase of planning much less anxiety provoking than I expected it to be.Today, I want to speak about part 2 of our project—The Installation. First, I want to name the installation team of four as an amazing group of men: Todd, Team Leader, Mark, Rick and Jonathan. Again, I have to say that Todd and his crew were every bit gentlemen. Todd was polite and knowledgeable He explained every phase of the installation and he coordinated his team so that everyone, including himself, was doing what they were supposed to do in an orderly efficient fashion-- and they did all this in spite of working on the TWO HOTTEST days of the summer so far. They worked from the moment they arrived (always before 8 a.m.) and left at the end of their day. They worked safely, efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves before they left each day. Todd was on top of all the safety issues both for his crew and safety of the public. He let us know why he was arranging ladders the way he was in order to implement OSHA requirements for our safety and the safety of the public passing my the work site. It was clear that SAFETY was at the top of their concerns. Todd explained to me the workings of the panels and all the other electronics that were being attached to the house. I can say that their team ran like a well-oiled machine. I am sure that Trinity Solar understands that people form their opinion about the company based almost entirely on their experience of the people that they send out to sell the program and to install the product. So, one would think that when these people are picked for their jobs that those doing the hiring were exceedingly mindful of this fact. So, Trinity, I have to give you a great big “Atta Boy”. The only opinion we could form by this experience with Trinity would be to give you a five star out five start rating because that is how we feel about the quality of our salesperson and that is how we feel about the quality of our installers, headed by Todd. I do have to mention that there were minor delays in the project that can be chalked up to issues related to building inspections and the protocols put in place by the owners of the electrical grid whose power lines we will be using. NONE of the delays were due to problems with Trinity. Their work was scheduled with us and done as per their schedule and on time..This project, for us, turned out to be a five star event all around: we the customer, your salesperson, your crack installation team, and Trinity management. Trinity management seems to be very aware that their reputation as a company is made primarily by those who represent them. Sending the best to us and all their customers is the result of good management and, to me, marks a five star company!!Roger & Rhanee Simon, Longmeadow!... read more
