OMG ITS BAD!!!!!
We had our system a little over a year now. We still have bad service not sure if they know the time difference here in Hawai'i to them. Maintenance guys been coming to our house pretty much monthly 2 to 3 times and check out the system and even had it changed out and they still can't find the problem. And our electric bill still going up even with the 3 battery packs we have. We shouldn't be paying any higher then what it's originally suppose to be. And customer service sucks they take too long to get back to me sometimes weeks if not we end up call them weekly to try and schedule maintenance service.

Honest & Professional
From the time we sat down with the sales rep to discuss switching over to solar, to the last peice of construction trash being thrown into the dumpster, this company followed through on every promise, statement and responsibility they communicated to us..The only surprise we had was when they would go the extra mile it never affected the price we were originally quoted! The sales rep Rob stopped by during the installation to make sure it was going as he stated it would go. For a major project it all went incredibly smooth. And oh yeah, my electric bill is abour 8 bucks a month for the electric companies service charges, so in other words, there is no electric bill anymore!

Terrible
They are the worst. Bad customer service no one answers you and gets back in a timely manner. When things don’t work for 3 months they don’t notify you and you pay double your electric bill you don’t get a credit. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Scam Company Damaged My Property
The sales person began changing the service contract after the seven day cancellation period. The installers did terrible workmanship. When I contacted Sunnova, it was a call bank. Their answer to the installers having damaged my breaker panel was , it’s a sub contractor and they could not do anything until they finished the install. They changed the contract over and over and refused any request to cancel. Once the installation was completed, they paid the sub contractor that didn’t pay their subcontractors and now my house is being threatened with foreclosure to pay the unpaid contractors. Their response was they paid the subcontractor they hired and they refused to do anything about it. Not one person I talk to at Sunnova has a clue about anything. The installers they hired left a loose power supply cable that almost burned down my house.

OMG!!!! The WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really wish I would have seen these reviews before I foolishly believed the sales people who talked me into using this company!! The installation took forever and once it rained my roof leaked!!! For the past month and a half I've been trying to get the leaks fixed to no avail. The company who they contracted with, Kayo Energy, is even worse than Sunnova!! I can't get anyone to call back nor answer the phone. Even when I called Sunnova's customer service, THEY couldn't get ahold of them!! To make matters worse, my bills have been anywhere from 50% - 100% HIGHER since going to them!!!! After the first two expensive bills, I told them I wanted them to get rid of their system only to be told that I had only two weeks after installing the system to make that determination. HOW IN THE HELL could anyone possibly know until they've received a couple of bills if they wanted to continue or discontinue the system???? They basically threatened legal action if I turned off the automatic payment and the system myself. So, I'm forced to hire a lawyer and go through countless thousands of dollars to remove this piece of crap system and company. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible Customer Service just looking for $
I was expecting decent service as this company is a public listed company, I bought a house with solar in few months there was leak which was due to the solar panel mounted in the roof water was seeping through those mounts and causing the leak. Sunnova sent the Technician (Jose on 01/05/2024) and he agreed with me and per him he wrote a report and recommended Sunnova to fix it. Since then, it's a back and forth with customer service (customerservice@sunnova.com)/phone. Sunnova assigned trinity solar, and they are recommending to replace the whole roof for that they are charging me $21k. $13k just for removing and reinstalling the solar panel + the cost of the roof even though it's not the roof but the way panel mounted. I requested to help me just to replace the roof where the leak is (only to remove 4 solar panels and replace the roof) but no one is helping me but asking me to pay big dollars for it. I know after I post this, I will be told to contact customer service which I have done many times already. Their customer service is the worst.

Most Worse company to purchase solar panels from.
Never ever purchase purchase or rent or do anything with Sunnova. My parents both passed and left me as executor over the estate. Every one you call have a different answer, no one knows what the others are saying. Omg the case numbers are ridiculous. Everything you do has to have a case number. Nobody ever can answer it straight and nobody can ever give you the information that you need. It’s so ridiculous and they are the most awful awful company to work with.

Horrible
Absolute crime that they can have customer service like this. System doesn't work for 6 months and they "do a review" and tell me my system produced within specs. Come on. They have to come out multiple times to "service" the system. I currently had a appt for today actually to replace some item, then get a text to day saying the system is down and a service needs to be scheduled. Do they not know they are coming to day anyways. Confusing how a company stays in business. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Unless you like pain and aggravation. the only way to get them to call you for anything is to leave a negative review on the email they send you asking how they did. But all it does is get a call from a person who knows nothing about the issues and says they escalate the problem. Smoke up the A$@
