took a very long time to install my system
This company ask's for money up front and then takes a long time to install. (months and months) <br /><br />If you are looking into solar consider another company. I am still waiting for my project to be finished and its been 9 months!!!!!

Residential Installation
My system was purchased and built through Solar Planet. It is approximately three years old and works like a champ! Tim and all his staff were absolutely great to work with throughout the project. I had some questions while filling out the rebate forms for the State of Iowa and the Federal government and they were great at assisting me. I would do business with them again if I get the opportunity. They continue to monitor my system and I still communicate with them periodically.

Farm electric
It was a pleasure doing business with Solar Planet. We have had our solar system up and running since August 2015. We are anxious to see how much it saves us over the first year. This is a small company with personal touch. The installer was willing and able to answer our questions as the install took place. Rose in the office was always willing to help if we needed something. Tim gave us a quote and answered our questions. The quote was adhered to when there was a change needed by the electrician. I would have liked to have Solar Planet fill out the tax form for the federal tax credit and do the work for the state tax credit. Not sure if any of the soalr companies do that, though. Overall, I would definitely recommend using Solar Planet to others!

Good job
Everyone there was great to work with. Had a small issue with installation. I was told they could use tin roof brackets to attach the panels but found out later the brackets didn't fit my tin roof. Nobody called to tell me. Small issue and everything worked out ok. Install timing was cut tight to the end of the year also, but it got done.
