Lots of expensive surprises
Cromwell is great with front end selling. Then they ran out of panels and had to wait for the supplier to make, I guess. They delayed install by about 3 months, then they charged more before asking me due to their own tardiness. Then they went on vacation and delayed hook up with the power company, as result, I missed months of great sun. And their bookkeeping is atrocious, they do not itemize and just send bills unexpectedly. Doubt if I would recommend.

Great service high efficiency unit
Our sales meetings and management of the installation was fantastic. We had a plan to have it completed before the end of the calendar year for tax reasons and it was a push but they got it completed and signed off by the 31. We have produced more energy that projected and are very pleased with the unit. There where a coupe of hiccups with the installation as the electician they hired to install the unit inside the garage did not show and they had to connect the unit on the outside of the house and they covered a roof vent that they later paid for it to be rerouted. So any problem that came up they took care of it for us so we are very pleased.

New solar experience
We had two systems installed at our farm. One to supply the house and one for the Barn. We had a lot of requirements, and the team at Cromwell walked us through it well. Their team designed a system that would put the wiring system at the farm underground, and go through the backup generator we have in case the electricity goes out. It may have been one of the most complicated systems they have ever put in, and had a lot of hoops to jump through with the county and KCPL. They took care of it all. I think that is why the scheduling was only good and not excellent. We have only had the system generating since October 2015, but the March 2016 bill found us with a negative bill on one system, and a much smaller bill on the barn. We used both the lease deal for the residential, and was able to get the depreciation benefit as well as Tax benefit on the commercial side. Overall we are happy with the system and the process.
