Loved working with this local business owner. Researched and price half a dozen companies before choosing Burnham & Sun. I have zero regrets. They brought me the lowest quoted price, handled nearly all the physical and bureaucratic work, was able to get up on the roof and pitch in while they installed so I was enabled to learn what was happening, my system has been up for a year now and running without an issue. Return on my money (after Fed and City tax refunds) is between 6% to 7% annually- and that is tax free. Best money I ever spent. I give Burnham & Sun my highest recommendation.

Sam Burnham and her crew did an excellent job at designing and installing 14 solar panels on our new home. We were very impressed at all phases, from design to completion. Even more impressive has been the customer service after all the work was done and paid for, something that is often missing. We are very happy with their installation and service, and recommend them highly.

Sam has been extraordinarily persistent in wrangling the resources needed to add some PV panels to our existing installation. It is very difficult to get excavation and concrete contractors to travel to our cabin site. She worked for a couple of months, persistently following up on leads, to finally get the work done. She has now installed new batteries (and increased our capacity) and added the additional panels for more charging capacity. I highly recommend Sam and her team.

They took care of all the paperwork for our tax credits. Work was done on time and at estimated cost.

Sam Burnham and her crew, especially Mike, were great! They installed an off-grid 4400w PV system with battery bank for us and did a great job! They were very knowledgable and helpful with the design of the system and did a neat and thorough job with the installation. Sam allowed me to do a lot of the prep work (pouring the piers for the ground mount, digging the trench) which saved us some money. All their work passed inspections without a hitch and the system, which has been up and running since June, has performed beautifully. I highly recommend Burnham and Sun to anyone seeking to take advantage of solar energy!

Of all the contractors we have had work on our house, Sam is the best. She sold us a product that works at a reasonable price, she performed the installation herself with an assistant, she promptly replies if I have a question or concern, and she followed up on the warranty of the installation.

Burnham & Sun were the most helpful and knowledgeable about the products and gave me several options to accomplish my goals. They were the only contractor (out of three) that was able to come up with a system that would do what I wanted it to. Sam was able to explain all of the things that had to be accomplished and she was very involved with the project from beginning to end. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and they came in on budget. I would highly recommend Burnham & Sons for any type of solar work. I appreciated their professionalism every step of the way.

We would not only hire them again, but have recommend them to others who are thinking of solar installation. None of the above sources of information influenced our decision to use renewable energy. We felt that we should do it and decided that it would eventually pay for itself.
