We selected U.S.-made panels. Our array of 26 panels has enabled us to be net producers of electricity rather than consumers since the installation was finished in late summer 2011. We're diligent about hosing the panels clean every 3 to 4 weeks during the dry season to rinse off dust, pollen, etc.
