I recommend more use of e-mail to contact the customer. Use e-mail to provide 1)date plans submitted to city for permit, 2)date city permit received, 3)final installation date, 4)any follow-ups needed.<br /><br />In my case the City of Banning lost the permit application, and I only discovered the problem when I followed up by phone with Carlson to ask about the start date delay. One day of my time retrieved the permits but we lost almost a month of schedule. No adverse impact.<br /><br />Incident illustrated that an informed Customer is an asset.<br /><br />Almost everyone these days has e-mail and this vehicle for communication is under-utilized. <br />Carlson provided an almost turnkey installation including the permitting process with City of Banning, installation of equipment (on time once permits pulled), checkout, and no-charge follow-ups to help with shifting loads between Grid and Solar bus. I rate them Excellent! Would gladly recommend them again.
