Any way you could change the question re type of unit installed? He also installed solar collectors for a corrent total of 80 sq ft. The system has been set up, however to add more should we want it, depending on our future usage of gas for the floor heating system.<br /><br />He is really an excellent contractor, honest, professional, knowledgeable and also a very nice person.<br />Georgia Goldfarb<br />I was given his name by Ray Darby, TheEnergyGuy.com who had worked with the state dept of Energy and/or Energy Commission and is extremely knowledgeable about the many ways of energy-saving resources.<br /><br />I am surprised that i have not heard of any savings to maintenance and expansion of the grid through the use of solar and wind energy.<br /><br />As citizens, we are always dismayed that the energy utilities do not offer the minimum amount of cash rebate for energy generated by an individual which exceeds personal use.<br /><br />In discussing our energy saving devices with others, i find that others interest is high in purchasing the panels but they simply cannot make the initial investment. therefore it is my belief that the government & utilities should do more to subsidize these ventures.
