Did not see any decrease in usage of electricity after installation was completed in Jan 2010. However, during the past 3 months (April, May and June) the generated electricity is enough to make the meter spin backwards during the day. It works great especially for people who are not always at home 100% of the time, due to taking trips, at second home and visiting children and grand children.<br />
