Home Energy LLC installed a 4.7KW expansion to an existing 1.8KW PV system on our home in 2010. They were extremely knowledgable and helpful about the Outback equipment we already had and what options were available for expansion. They were prompt in getting us an estimate, responding to questions or communications, and with completing the work itself. They handled all the permits and arrangements with our power company (unlike our previous installer), and getting us registered with SRECTrade to generate and sell SRECs for the power we generate.<br /><br />Having built a home in 2006 and dealt with a different company that year to do our original PV install, trying for 2-3 months in 2010 to get even a bid or cost estimate for this expansion from two other renewable enegry companies, I can say that Home Energy LLC is the best company I`ve dealt with for PV systems (and probably the best and easiest contractor overall I`ve had the pleasure to work with). I would recommend them without hesitation, and they will definitely be the first company I call if/when we decide to expand our renewable energy system, whether it be PV, wind or a solar hot water system.<br />The only incentive available to us are the federal tax credits, which will be handled by me when I file my taxes. I did confirm with Home Energy LLC that the equipment I was purchasing should be eligible for the credits (although I understand that they are not attorneys or IRS agents, and cannot make guarantees about my getting the tax credits).
