This winter I came home to a tag on my door from Auric solar. I had been looking into solar panels for my house since it is electric only, but have never been able to come up with down payment for them. One of Auric's big selling points for me was the fact that they use your tax write-off for the down payment and no payments for over a year. Due to a couple electrical problems with my house that needed to get fixed first, my panels took longer than I hoped to get installed (not Auric's fault), but now (July) they are installed and working great and I have "free" electricity with no payments until next September. All the components seem high quality and the customer service has been super. They have computer models to show where the best areas for the panels would be and about how much electricity you will produce. I really appreciated having all the information and numbers up front. You also get a website where you can monitor output from anywhere and so far its meeting all my expectations. Makes me wish I had a bigger roof so I could put more panels up! I've only had the panels for a week or so, but so far so good. I will try to give an update in 6 months or a year and let everyone know how its going.
