Just wanted to give a shout out to Southern Current for my recent installation. Everything went as planned from the sales visit, design, and installation. I had done some research and had a good idea of what I wanted and Southern Current was able to deliver in a timely and cost effective manner with no hidden fees or hiccups. The time from the sales visit to the actual "power up" was less than 2.5 months, which by all accounts, was "light years" ahead of other companies who predicted it could take 6 months. The process was essentially seamless as the sales and installation teams took care of all the permits and scheduling with very little hassle or time investment from the customer. The installation was completed in 1.5 days, and when compared to other houses in the area there is no comparison as to the aesthetics and professional appearance of our solar system. It has now been 6 months since the installation and I have had ZERO issues to date. The system is producing as much and sometimes more power than predicted and my utility bill has gone from $300/month to an average of $60/month (gas heat and water and fees). Electricity consumption has been ZERO and as of this writing we have a credit of 2100 kWh of electricity. Not to mention, I felt a lot better going with a local company that I feel will be in the business for the unforeseeable future!! Thanks to Sheri Porter, the installation team, and to Southern Current for making the transition to Solar as painless and productive as possible!!
