Don't recommend Sunnova

Initially we were excited to save some money and help the environment. Unfortunately, we were blindsided after the installation by terrible customer service. They fail to highlight in the contract process that Sunnova will not cover pigeon guards for their panels which cost hundreds to thousands of dollars essentially wiping away any cost saving benefit of having the system. We attempting to talk with Sunnova management to discuss my concerns they are never available and I have never received a call back. <br /><br />Additionally, Sunnova lost our payment records and tried to double bill our account. We had to call and show them their own invoices before they would cancel the charges. This was even more frustrating as they require a direct withdrawal from my account. How could I have not paid? <br /><br />My final concern with this company occurred with the sale of a second home that unfortunately also had Sunnova panels. The process of transferring the account was so convoluted that we nearly lost the sale of the home. When calling Sunnova during this process they were very unhelpful and frequently confused our homes. It was so disorganized that at one point they canceled the contract for the wrong home.<br /><br />Overall, I have been very disappointed with the Sunnova service. It has ended up costing, not saving me money and causing me far more headache than benefit. If there was a reasonably way to get out of my contact I would. I highly discourage anyone considering this service.
