Electric bill is now higher and Customer Service doesn't exist

Once Solar City has your money, their customer service disappears. They were really nice and easy to work with in the planning stages. Then things went downhill. First, they wanted to install the panels on the side of my house where my neighbor's tree was shading my roof. I told them I didn't want that and the representative said to "trust their engineers". Now the install is about to happen but guess what- they didn't realize I had an electric heater! Wow, some engineers you have when they couldn't deduce I had an electric heater. They took pictures of my utility equipment too; they should have noticed there wasn't a gas line to my house because we don't have gas in this area. Genius! Because of this, my solar project is now set back a month. After the install you have to wait for the inspections. A month goes by and I hear nothing. I contacted Solar City and they said the inspection was already done. That seems pretty impossible as I have a 6 foot fence with gates that are locked at all times. The representative told me they don't need physical access to the equipment. Apparently they just drive by and visually look at it. Wow, what a quality inspection! After the install, "inspection", and given permission to turn on, guess what happened to my electric bill? It went through the roof! That's right: I paid $20k for solar equipment just for my energy usage to INCREASE. The problem seems to be that the meter is counting my solar production as actual energy usage, and now the utility company is charging me for it. I've contacted the utility company: no response in over a month. I've contacted Solar City's help email: No response in over a week. I feel like I've been completely scammed- because I paid $20k upfront for solar which now I can't even turn on because it's not setup correctly and the utility charges me for crazy usage. I pretty much just took my money and set it on fire. Avoid this garbage company at all costs.
