I had looked into solar a few years ago and was not impressed. Companies approached us and spoke of no cost solar for what amounted to a 10% discount off of the current rates. My neighbor was a little more motivated and looked into purchasing the panels outright. When I looked at the math it seemed to make more sense. He purchased his panels through Boston Solar. The following Spring Boston Solar announced a "Solarize" program where in concert with The Massachusetts Clean Energy Council they would offer a town wide discount program. I attended the meetings and liked what I heard. Tom C came out and answered a TON of questions and put together a great proposal that was cash flow positive immediately and would pay for itself in less than 5 years. After completing the paperwork and establishing an install date I ended up being hospitalized and had to reschedule the installation. Boston Solar responed immediately and worked with me to establish a new install date that kept our project on schedule. Their onsite team was nothing short of terrific. They were sensitive to my specific requests and completed our 28 panel installation in a single day We were generating electricity less than 30 days later (after inspections and approvals). This was a complex process and the entire Boston Solar Team was patient with my questions and always exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
