I had my system installed six years ago. I immediately started having problems that were most likely due to poor installation and/or grounding. Within the first couple of years, the Internet TP Links let out a puff of smoke and quit working. It was like pulling teeth to get a replacement from Enphase; their customer (lack of) service was abysmal at best. <br /><br />About a year ago, the system started tripping the circuit breaker. At first it was just occasionally. It continued to worsen until it would trip the circuit breaker within minutes of re-setting it. Finally, one of the inverters failed and that solved the circuit-breaker issue. I've been waiting nearly a month for a replacement inverter; my contractor is slow to respond and claims Enphase is "working on" sending a replacement. In the meantime, another inverter has failed. I wonder how long it will take Enphase to supply a replacement for that one. I fully expect more inverter failures in the future based on the reviews I have read. It seems like many, many people have had multiple failures. It appears the inverters can be expected to have a six-year lifespan or less.<br /><br />Enphase equipment is unreliable junk. I regret my decision to use their products.

Update: I've had more micro-inverter failures since my review (about 50% of them have failed within 7 years), but Enphase says they will sell me all new inverters that are even better.<br /><br />I thought solar was supposed to SAVE you money, not cost thousands more.....<br /><br />Maybe I should buy a boat so I could use the old ones for anchors. I really do regret my decision to use Enphase products.
