After not knowing much about solar but seeing panels everywhere I decided to get some proposals and estimates- I met with a total of 4 companies before making my decision and the solar program was the one that stood out- they offer the best panels, they were Sunpower 360 watts as compared to 270 watts which seemed to be the highest panels the other companies offered. More importantly, they educated me as to all the solar misconceptions that are out there and how most companies aren't really helping people save like you can with them. I am so happy I made the right decision, solar is something I only wanted to do once and couldn't afford to make a mistake that would last a lifetime. The install went smooth for the most part and Dan, my program rep was very knowledgable and honest!! If you are going to do solar, Make sure you do it right- My neighbor has panels from last year and he said hes not saving nearly as much as he was promised-
