We finally got solar on the roof. Kasselman solar (518) 478-8365 installed the panels a few weeks ago, I turned on the breakers and Brandon LeFevre came out and set up my system. Kasselman solar were wonderful. They helped with the application for NYSERDA. If you install solar you can get low interest funding and State and Federal tax rebates. The crew leader was a young man named Jared Brown, he had worked on BP clean up in the Gulf of Mexico. He told me it was 140 degrees and they could only work for 20 minutes at a time in Hazmat suits and then had to cool down for an hour, but they never really cooled down. One of the workers died from heat exhaustion. Now he works in solar installation in hopes his three year old son has a future. The new panels can work with shade. We had planned to put solar on the roof for years, now with individual microinverters I finally got it done. I encourage you to call before the new administration and congress get a chance to remove all the subsidies. If you call mention my name.
