Worst mistake we ever made

Took 2 years to install!!! Spring of 2013. 1st contracted with them in They had no contractor, we had 2 pay huge con Ed bills as well as solar Bill last summer because they were without contractor. Finally installed Oct. 2015, and supposedly up and running,. Finally up and running, then crashes April 21st à( faulty inverter) . Says monitoring system should have let us know, it didn't, said was our responsibility to monitor our own system . Did know till we got huge con Ed bills, call rep for months, no return calls. Kept leaving messages, no return call. Find out she no longer works there for months, yet her voice mail still comes up as of yesterday. Call manager, basically said oh well, equipment breaks, stuff happens why didn't we notice! Seriously?? Monitoring system only does so much, the rest is on you! Really Bill?? ONGOING GEOPEAK/ SUNPOWER NIGHTMARE COSTING $36,000.00!!

I regret the customer's dissatisfaction. This customer agreed to purchase this system at a time when we were in search of a new subcontract partner. The customer was unhappy with the ensuing delay. They had no financial obligation to us and could have easily selected another vendor. We even suggested that they should. There was an error in the loan amounts they applied for. We worked with the bank to get it straightened out. Apparently in April 2016 they had an inverter go offline. We review the voice mailbox of the former employee and have had no messages from the customer. Per haps they were left on her cell phone. When finally notified in late September we promptly sent a technician who reset the inverter. SunPower systems include a web based monitoring system for the customer to view their system performance. We are an installer, not a monitoring service. We respond when advised of a problem as we did in this case.
