We are a family of four that lives in an off-grid passive solar home at 7300 feet elevation in the Front Range of Colorado. When our house was originally built the solar array was good but not great. As such we were constantly struggling to minimize our energy consumption, but even with our best efforts we suffered two premature failures of our lead-acid battery banks. When the second bank of batteries was failing we decided to have a complete analysis done of our system and upgrade or change what we needed. Matt and his crew at Complete Energy Solutions were not only the first to respond to our inquiry but were also the only business that offered to come in person and look at our situation prior to making a proposal. They came out and had a very reasonable proposal to us within 10 days. The installation, once the parts were ordered and available, was just as fast. <br /><br />I can't say enough good things about Complete Energy Solutions. They were quick, professional and very knowledgeable to say the least. They also communicated with us at every stage of the process, which was very helpful. They were not only willing to work with an older system, but actually understood the system better than other contractors we have hired in the past to 'repair' it. They looked at the complete picture and offered a very well thought-out upgrade based on the location of the house, energy production potential, current production and anticipated usage (rather than just a spreadsheet). I truly felt that they offered us what we needed, not just what they had to sell us. Furthermore, Matt was happy to have me watch the installation and ask as many questions as I wanted to feel comfortable with the new additions. When they were finished I felt like I not only had a better off-grid energy system, but a better knowledge of that system as well. Definitely a win-win situation for me.<br /><br />Given the quality of the work, I don't anticipate seeing Complete Energy Solutions for quite a while, but I am delighted to have them close at hand if I need them. They have already demonstrated their commitment to after-sales support when I had a few technical questions to ask, and I feel comfortable that they will be willing to help any time I need them. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who may considering the addition or improvement of a solar energy array.
