I recently had Freedom Solar install a 4.6 Kw solar photovoltaic system on the roof of my house and I was pleasantly surprised by smoothly every thing went. I first spoke with Zach Stirling on May 20 and the system was commissioned and producing power on August 24. Zach initially put together a phone/ web based consultation. Zach was able to answer all my questions about cost, reliability, return on investment and the installation process in a very professional manner. In speaking with other solar installer salespeople I found them not at all straight forward about financial issues or knowledgeable about their product. Zach even arranged for me to speak with a Sunpower representative about some technical issues concerning efficiency of the panel in various weather conditions.<br />After going back and forth a little on the proposal and financing options, the project was handed off the Mike Peck, project manager and Ben Flynn, project coordinator on June 17. The panels were installed July 25 and meters hooked up and commissioned by the local power company on August 24. Since then over 60% of the electric we have used has been produced by solar energy. <br />Freedom Solar did their job very well. Something that is, unfortunately, increasingly rare these days.
