I looked long and hard for a solar company that would actually design a system that would eliminate my solar bill and be a purchase at a price that made sense. Clear Solar was able to do that. The biggest problem with them is their lack of communication or last minute communication. Several times during the install, inspection and permitting process, I got last minute calls saying that they needed to go to my house for something. They agreed to upgrade my electrical panel but did not inform me that the contractor was arriving at my house a day early to do it. They set off my alarm in my home and the police were dispatched. What a nightmare. Now that my system is installed and I assume working properly, and I say assume because I have been trying to get access to my system via the web but cannot seem to get in contact with anyone. They were supposed to send me a link with information to access my solar system but I have not received it. I have sent e-mails and tried calling but I have not been able to talk to anyone nor have I received a reply to my e-mails. It is very concerning and I think my next step will be to the governing body for utility services. In the overall, things went well but their communication is not too good.
