After we decided to pursue a solar electric PV system to reduce our environmental impact and initially researched the topic, we chose Universal Solar to design, install, and commission our new 28 panel, 8.7 kW grid-tied system. The system design specialist, Nick Arceneaux (NABCEP certified), was professional, very knowledgeable, and patient (3 hours!) with understanding our vision and providing a corresponding proposal. Once we made our decision, he was always available and very responsive for questions and status updates during all phases of the project. The lead time for the order and permitting phase exactly matched Nick's original estimate; therefore, the installation started without delays. The installation was executed very well and completed on time by the team of Chase, Robert, and Zack. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and quality-minded. The installation and commissioning was led by Christopher Maingot, an NABCEP certified professional and Florida leader. Our new, turn-key electric PV system is performing well and the SolarEdge monitoring is very effective.
