From the salesperson (Tate) to all the installers and inspectors, our experience with this company has been excellent. The building inspector in Port Jervis has had to work with several solar companies and NYSSF was one of the best companies that he had to deal with. Our roof required bracing in the attic and the company followed his recommendations to the letter. Our system passed on the first inspection. The company did all the paper work in getting the permits. All I had to do was to schedule appointments for the inspections.<br /><br /> Our system was installed in late October 2015 and began operating on November 1. Even though winter is the least productive time of the year, the system has generated producing over 1430kw. That includes all rainy and snow days conditions. That averages out to over 12kw/day. I am looking forward to the period from spring till early fall when the system should be producing enough power to help carry me through next winter. Time will tell. Having the ability to monitor my system via IPhone and laptop, allows me to monitor the system at all times of the day. To me, that is invaluable.<br /><br /> I hope that this has been helpful to someone thinking about installing a system. It is costly but in the long run this system will pay for itself many times in many ways: tax incentives, increasing the value of your home, saving on your electric bill, helping the environment.<br /><br />Good luck to all who do it!
