This is my second solar installation as a customer. My first was in Maryland. Our group had a 20kw system installed by a local solar company. Our group appointed one of our group as liaison with the construction manager. After the installation, others of the group, like myself, agreed to perform a post inspection of the installation. We found trash like soda and coffee cups on the roof and on the ground from the work crew, dropped parts like screws and brackets on the bladder roof, conduit not supported on the roof, covers not secured and leads from the Micro Inverters not secured. We cleaned up the trash to avoid a potential puncture of the bladder roof and to avoid a bad image with our customer.<br />Our home installation with GTRE has been just the absolute opposite of my first experience in Maryland. GTRE used only skilled technicians for the installation. They were all hard working, careful, polite, educators, safety-conscious, and respectful our property. GTRE's installation is pleasant to look at blends well with our house. The other thing I noticed was the mutual respect that was exhibited between GTRE and the power distributor when the hook up was done. I can tell you right now, that when it comes time to expand our system, we will go directly back to GTRE for this work. We didn't know GTRE when we initially started our search for an installation company. We know them now and they are our go to installation company from now on.
