In April I started seeking out companies to install a solar system on my property. I looked at a total of 4 different companies, and ultimately went with Longhorn Solar because of Dylan. I had LOTS of questions and Dylan was always quick in getting back to me.<br /><br />I won't say that everything went as smooth as glass with the install, but from what I've been told, the particular installer is no longer with the company.<br /><br />Also, I know I wasn't the easiest customer either. I went back and forth for a while on how I wanted the unit installed. I couldn't decide on a ground mount, house mount, or to install it on our shop and trench to the house. I eventually decided to install on the shop and trench since the shop is a metal roof and I wouldn't have to worry about taking panels down when I replace roof on the house. <br /><br />Since having the unit installed, I have gone back and done comparisons to last years bills and compared with exact kwh usage and outdoor temperatures and have consistently saved about $125 a month. This is with running our thermostat at 72 degrees all day long, every day.<br /><br />Since installing it, I am considering it for my shop as well (separate meter).
