Residential Solar Installation in Cambrian Park

After a lot of deliberation and talks with various Solar companies that charged ridiculous amounts for the Solar System, I found SunWork. They are a non-profit and work in the interest of the community.

Mike Balma was our first contact who scheduled the onsite visit and gave an initial estimate which was 30% cheaper than quotes from For-Profit companies. The Panels they used were REC-275-TP Panels, which is used by SunRun as well. They used SunnyBoy String Inverter, which is also used by some of the For-Profit installers.

Matt Thompson was the project lead who lead the installation along with another project lead who was under training and 3-volunteers. The installation was scheduled for Oct. But due to a dropoff they scheduled ours in August, and I could not be happier, that we get solar earlier. The installation was done over a weekend and was on schedule no hiccups. I was impressed with their professionalism and the way they followed through. Matt was good and was open about pricing and did not hesitate on telling me the prices of equipment. They do pass on wholesale prices of all the equipment for the system and charge a nominal amount per watt of installation.

After installation Matt followed through with inspection and the application for Net-Metering as well, so it was a breeze for us. We are now earning credits for electricity generated.

So far I am a happy customer and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends. In fact one of my friends is on their wait-list for installation !

Thanks SunWork!
